GRC Trifecta: Masters place 1st, 2nd, 3rd at Invitational Regatta

Women's Team Brings Gold Across Border

On Sunday, July 19th, GRC Masters teams competed in the 48th Annual St. Catharine's Invitational Regatta on Henley Island in Ontario, Canada. The morning proved successful as GRC's teams rowed solidly through the 1000 meter sprints. The Women's 8+ won Gold; the Men's 8+ took 2nd place and Giva Lopes-Little placed 3rd in the Master Women's 1x.

The women's team was represented by: Moi Dugan, Karen Morgan, Marina Barnum, Nancy Kleintop, Mary Fredlund, Julie Crispino, Giva Lopes-Little, Lisa Gesinger (stroke) and coxie Rachel Gartland.

The men's boat was rowed by: Corey Julseth, Karl Geoca, Patrick Fricke, Doug Short, Jim Barnum, Eric Geoca, Todd Thayer, Gary Swagler (stroke) and coxie Julia Evans.

Congratulations to Coach Mike Sealander and his team for an excellent representation of GRC!
